Senior Software Developer
Sparkroom is looking for a Senior Software Developer to help us design, develop, deploy, and operate a world-class hosted data warehousing and business intelligence solution for the financial sector.

We are focused on delivering direct marketing solutions and market intelligence to buyers and sellers of internet leads. Responsibilities
- Enjoy working in a highly collaborative environment
- Design, develop and maintain Sparkroom products using Java-based technologies
- Work with the Product Management team and clients to help in the gathering and documentation of user stories and test cases
- Mentor other developers and perform code reviews of peers’ work
- Maintain high level of functional and technical product knowledge
- Participate in defining and improving Sparkroom processes
Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years Java or very strong OO development skills
- Experience working with large database systems
- Experience using web related technologies, such as HTML, DHTML, CSS, XML, SOAP, Javascript, JSP, JDBC, J2EE, Spring, ASP, web services, etc.
- Relevant BS degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering is required, advanced CS degree strongly preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Experience with Agile methods is an asset
- Experience with BI tools and OLAP is an asset
