Technical Project Manager

Sparkroom is looking for a Technical Project Manager to help us activate customers on our world-class hosted marketing analytics solution for the financial sector. In this role, you will work with customers to analyze their data and analytics requirements and configure and test the Sparkroom solution based on those needs. This is a technical position with frequent customer interaction.

Help them integrate their data and configure and utilize Sparkroom’s web-based marketing analytics software to enable optimal decisions on the deployment of their marketing spend. Responsibilities

  • Maintain a high level of functional and technical product knowledge
  • Work directly with customers to understand their data and analytics requirements, detailing proposed solutions to those needs
  • Manage the full lifecycle of a client implementation through kickoff, analysis, system configuration and data loading, and testing
  • Coach customers throughout the implementation process
  • Ensure that customers complete their implementations on schedule
  • Communicate constantly with customers, escalating important issues where needed
  • Manage project documentation, including project plans, status reports and action items, and lead client project status meetings
  • Reconcile, test and debug Sparkroom analytics against source customer data and systems, in order to verify accuracy and to ensure that customer requirements have been addressed
  • Enjoy working in a highly collaborative environment
  • Lead and coach junior team members, as required

Skills & Qualifications

  • Candidate must demonstrate skills for analyzing and documenting business requirements and corresponding solutions specifications
  • Must of self-managed, responsive, and dedicated to customer support
  • Strong project management skills
  • Understanding of and experience with application architectures (client/server, web, database)
  • Superior communications skills (verbal and written)
  • Experience writing database queries in SQL
  • Experience with BI tools and OLAP is an asset
  • Relevant BS degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering is required
